Top 10 Fictional Locations in Wrestling

Pro wrestling is wonderfully ridiculous. It’s a form of entertainment where Olympic gold medallists can go one-on-one with 7-foot zombies with magic powers. In a world full of so many extravagant characters, it makes sense that some of them can’t possibly be from actual places that exist in the real world. Sometimes pro wrestling goes so far into kayfabe that they need to invent places for their characters to be from……or sometimes wrestlers just like to use where they’re billed from to make cool pop culture references. Whatever the reason behind it though, I’m going to rank them – here are the Top 10 Fictional Locations in Wrestling.

Five Potential WWE Tournaments

Wrestling fans absolutely love tournaments. Well, I know I do anyway. All across the world, tournaments are the highlights of every promotion’s annual calendar, such as NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors, PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles, Lucha Underground’s Cueto Cup, WCPW’s Pro Wrestling World Cup, and Progress’ Super Strong Style. From the King of the Ring to the Cruiserweight Classic, tournaments have always been a part of WWE programming, yet in the last few years, they really have seemed to have made a comeback, with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and the upcoming Mae Young Classic. Top 15 Finishers Outside of WWE

A wrestler’s finisher/s is/are the best weapon/s in their arsenal. It says something about them, explains how they choose to fight and how they decide to end their matches. Not only that, good finishers can also define the wrestler they belong to – what would Stone Cold be without the Stunner, or Scotty 2 Hotty without The Worm? Given how important they are, nailing a good finisher is one of the most important decisions a wrestler can make; sometimes they get it right, sometimes they get it wrong. In this list, I’ll be looking at those in wrestling today outside of WWE that really got it right. Unlike my best and worst WWE finishers lists, I will only be looking at the positive side of finishers in the world outside of Vinny Mac’s house of graps, for now at least anyway.

I’m going to be ranking the Top 15 finishers in Wrestling Outside of WWE today based on how effective they are, how believable they are as a move capable of finishing a match, and how visually appealing they are to me.
